Shaggy Shuffle... Walk for the Animals
We have the greatest hardworking volunteers who donate countless hours to make this event more successful each year. They, along with our wonderful walkers and sponsors, helped to bring in over $19,000 for 2008. Every penny of this money will go to help the animals at the shelter. Thank you also to our Master of Ceremonies, Marci Narum of KXMB-TV, who did a fantastic job of keeping things moving smoothly. Also, Tom O’Neill “In the Mix” shared his great musical talents. And we can’t forget to thank Club Fido and Triple H Mini Horse Rescue for spending the day with us. This was a great day enjoyed by all!! We look forward to next year and once again raising much needed funds for the animals housed at the shelter. Thanks to Our Generous Sponsors

Once again God blessed us with a beautiful day for our Shaggy Shuffle Walk for the Animals. Temps were in the 80’s, skies were clear, and hundreds of dogs were anxious to get walking. When the clock struck 2, off they went with Marj Smith, dogs in hand and doggie bags in her pocket, leading the crowd. And when they all returned, refreshments were served and door prizes were handed out by North Skager.
