Needs List

The following is a list of items that are in constant need at the shelter. These items may be brought to the shelter during regular business hours. There are also CDHS donation bins located in Bismarck at Big K-Mart, Cash Wise Foods, Gold Label Feeds, KT Animal Supply and True Value Hardware and a donation bin in Mandan at NoDak Mutual Insurance. Items may be purchased and left for pick up at these locations.

6. Booklets of 44-Cent Postage Stamps
7. Peanut Butter (Used for giving medicine to animals.)
8. Squeeze Cheese (Used for giving medicine to animals.)
9. Paper Towels
10. Rubber Backed Rugs
11. Fleece (Should be new - Will be used to make blankets to sell.)
12. Cat and Dog Beds (Washable)
13. Dog Toys
14. Soft Dog Treats
15. Heavy-duty Trash Bags
16. Tall Kitchen Garbage Bags
17. Wild Bird Food
18. New or used electric clothes dryers
19. Good Condition enclosed 4- or 6-horse trailer

The Central Dakota Humane Society receives no city, state or federal funding and donations are always needed to help the animals and the organization. It's easy and donations can be made online. If you prefer, your check or money order can be mailed to:
