Since it has been over a year since Loki has come home with us and almost a year for Tucker, we thought we would give a little update on how the boys are doing. Loki (formerly known as Pepe) has been doing fantastic. Our little puppy mill survivor has come a long way in the last year and a half. He has started to learn how to be a real dog! We attribute a lot of his success to the addition of Tucker (formerly known as Krumel) to our family. Since Tucker was still very much a puppy when we adopted him last July, he wanted to play all the time. Seeing Tucker playing with our other dog, Gizmo, was one of the best things that could have ever happened for Loki. He watched and learned and eventually started joining in. Loki has also found his voice and lets us know when he hears noises outside. Although he is still very scared of the great outdoors and is still working on house training, he is doing much better than when we first brought him home. All 3 of our boys sleep in bed with us each night and snuggle together. Loki has had a lot of hardships in his life but has a loving family now who would never give him up! Both Loki and Tucker were so lucky to have the wonderful staff at the Humane Society taking care of them. We would like to thank all of you for making sure these little guys were taken care of and given a second chance!
Thank you again and we will bring the boys to visit very soon!
